Some typical features of the Swedish language are special rules for word order and the use of indefinite/definite forms. Word order can be complicated because intonation on sentences, and often even meaning depends on word order. Indefinite/definite form of nouns is also something that only native speakers fully master. A little easier than in other languages is the Swedish language use of verbs as they are not inflected for person and or for numbers, though clearly the time perspective plays a role here. An interesting fact is that the Swedes love to create new words by compositions of words that occur frequently; such as „flygvärdinneklädsel” (“flight attendant wear”). The Swedish vocabulary is comprehensive and every year the Swedes elect the most beautiful word. The most beautiful word in 2015 was „annorlunda” (“different”).
